The Head of Resort Maintenance, also known as a Maintenance Manager or Chief Engineer, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort's physical upkeep and maintenance. This includes ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, facilities, and building systems, while also managing budgets and staff. They also play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the resort and its guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing Maintenance Operations: Overseeing all maintenance activities, including repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency responses.
Supervising Staff: Leading and supervising maintenance staff, including technicians, plumbers, and electricians.
Budget Management: Managing budgets and resources for cost-effective facility upkeep.
Ensuring Safety and Security: Implementing and maintaining safety and security protocols.
Coordination with Other Departments: Working with other departments, such as housekeeping and food & beverage, to ensure seamless operations.
Maintaining Building Systems: Overseeing the maintenance of various building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
Performing Inspections: Regularly inspecting all areas of the resort to identify potential maintenance needs.
