Job summary

Dormakaba Production Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an engineer to optimize machine downtime through hands-on setting, adjustment and testing. The role focuses on first-layer inspection and troubleshooting to improve quality and productivity across the manufacturing line.

The candidate will read engineering drawings, work with internal customers to meet delivery commitments, and contribute to continuous improvement in setup and quality processes in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering.
• Preferably 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Result oriented and team worker.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Machine/Fixture setting, adjustment and testing
• First layer machine inspection and troubleshooting
• Continuously improve on set-up and quality processes
• Focus on first pass requirement and productivity
• Interface with internal customers to ensure delivery and quality commitments are met
• Provide engineering knowledge to achieve target on quality and productivity
