Job Scope

  • Technical support for APAC & Global.
  • Design machinery and equipment related to Camfil products and processes.
  • Project Management
  • Improve or develop existing /new processes related to Camfil's Scope of business.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To develop/ improve processes and equipment related to the process and product.
  • To build machinery equipment related to the Camfil manufacturing scope and products.
  • To improve the process equipment required by process development teams.
  • Support APAC and Global projects on process and product development and factory/facility setup.
  • To assist the Global team for machinery installation, testing and commissioning Malaysia plant and APEC.
  • Able to use 3D design software, SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of basic engineering design, calculation and mechanical properties.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of Electrical systems, low voltage and high voltage and controls (AC/DC)
  • Able to read engineering and electrical drawings
  • Able to do layout according to lean manufacturing concepts
  • Knowledge of PLC / PAC or robotics.
  • Problem-solving skills related to mechanical or electrical failures.
  • To coordinate projects given by the senior engineer
  • Willing to travel overseas for installation and buy new machinery equipment.
  • Monitor and execute the project on the timeline set by the plant / APAC
  • Responsible for all activities related to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Energy
  • Carry out duties in accordance with Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Energy Policy, Procedure and SOP

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering
  • Not less than 2-3 years of working experience ( experience with machine-building knowledge is beneficial)
  • Fresh Graduate with an Engineering Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Good technical knowledge of the required job skills.
  • Self-motivated and independent. Outstanding time management skills.
  • Experience in handling technical drawing software e.g. , AutoCAD/Solidworks)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of PLC, Robotic and Electrical Automation controls
  • Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
  • Experience in project coordination and implementation within a timeline is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of M&E Safety.
