Job summary

Sunrise Recruit (CP4U) seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to operate turning and milling machines on our Malaysia shop floor. You will read drawings, set tooling, and program machining parameters to produce compliant parts.

We offer a day shift and rotating shifts with shift allowance and OT benefits. Candidates should be able to inspect parts with precision gauges and ensure adherence to specs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and OEM specs to ensure accurate work.
• Set tooling, datum points, and machining parameters (speed, feed, coolant, depth).
• Operate CNC turning and milling machines while monitoring performance to prevent wear or faults.
• Inspect finished components with precision gauges to guarantee conformance to specs.

Job description

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, engine manuals, OEM specifications, and work instructions to execute job requirements accurately.
• Align cutting tools and fixtures, verify workpiece datum points, and program machining parameters (speed, feed, coolant, cut angle/depth).
• Operate CNC Turning and Milling machines while actively monitoring cutting performance to prevent excessive tool wear or operational faults.
• Inspect finished components using micrometers, verniers, indicators, and gauges to guarantee full conformance to specifications.

Working day: Mon-Fri

Working hours: 7.30am to 4.50pm / 7.30pm to 4.50am (Rotate shift)
