Role Description

This is a contract role for a Machine Learning Developer located on-site in Batu Pahat.

As a Machine Learning Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models to solve complex real-world problems. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to create AI-driven solutions that enhance business processes and decision-making. Daily tasks include working with data sets, conducting research on machine learning techniques, and collaborating with other team members to enhance algorithm performance and accuracy. This role requires hands-on experience with object detection, pattern recognition, deep learning neural networks, and statistical methods to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models for various applications.
2. Implement and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines.
3. Work with large datasets to extract insights and improve model performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into production systems.
5. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies.
6. Troubleshoot and improve existing models and algorithms.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in machine learning model development and deployment.
3. Strong programming skills in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
4. Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
5. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLops practices.
6. Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, or computer vision is a plus.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Previous experience in academia or research projects is beneficial.
