Job Title: M&E Supervisor

Location: Johor, Malaysia

Industry: Construction / Main Contractor

Reporting to: M&E Manager / Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced M&E Supervisor to join our team for ongoing and upcoming building construction projects in Johor. As part of a main contractor team, you will be responsible for the coordination, supervision, and execution of all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works on-site, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site M&E activities and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress and adherence to project timelines.
• Ensure all M&E works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and authorities’ regulations.
• Monitor and inspect site installations and workmanship to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with consultants and clients to resolve site issues and discrepancies.
• Assist in reviewing M&E shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Monitor testing and commissioning works and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports for internal tracking and project reporting.
• Enforce company safety regulations and participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in M&E supervision with a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems for building projects (residential, commercial, industrial).
• Familiar with local codes, authority requirements, and standard construction practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to be based in Johor and work extended hours when necessary.
