Job summary

AME Elite Consortium Berhad seeks a skilled Project Engineer to join our team and oversee M&E installation works for commercial and industrial buildings. You will coordinate site activities, troubleshoot issues, manage procurement progress and ensure quality across construction tasks.

Requirements include a diploma/degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, proficient Bahasa Malaysia and English, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in related field.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Site experience and ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all M&E installation works.
• Troubleshoot and propose solutions to site problems.
• Plan, monitor and control procurement, materials delivery and progress of work.
• Prepare and submit Progress Reports and related drawings/documents.
• Verify quantities for M&E installation services (Tender/Shop/As-built).
• Ensure sufficiency, efficiency and quality of workforce.
• Monitor progress to comply with Work Schedule and client requirements.
• Verify M&E design, sub-contractor claims and variation orders.
• Liaise with client, consultants, authorities and other parties.
• Maintain and update M&E drawing lists/details for construction.
• Coordinate and supervise own/sub-contractor workforce.
• Multi-task on drawings, procurement, reports, etc.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
