Overview

We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at TF KONSULT SDN BHD. As an M&E Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our engineering projects in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative and growing organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of M&E projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to effectively communicate project status, address issues, and deliver exceptional customer service
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation
• Monitor project progress and performance, and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and keep projects on track
• Collaborate with the design team to provide technical input and ensure the feasibility of project solutions
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the engineering team

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Prefer minimum 5 years of experience as an M&E Project Engineer in the engineering industry
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
• Familiar with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards in the engineering industry
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to find innovative solutions
