Job description

M&E Engineer (Construction industry / HVAC)

Support the M&E Manager in coordinating the installation and integration of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems with the construction team and subcontractors.

Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth M&E execution and resolve coordination challenges.

Oversee M&E system installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and safety standards.

Supervise testing and commissioning of M&E systems to verify performance and adherence to operational requirements.

Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct routine site inspections to assess installation quality and promptly address any issues or deviations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in M&E project work within the construction industry.
• Experience in Semicon/Data Centre projects.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Solid understanding of construction operations and processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Familiarity with Bomba requirements and relevant government regulations.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
