Job summary

ACCA Careers in Malaysia seeks a Manager for its TAS team to guide financial due diligence across transactions, partnering with clients from private equity, GLCs, and corporate sectors. You will drive analysis of earnings quality, cash flow, assets, and working capital, while managing client communications and delivering strategic recommendations.

You'll lead and coach the team, develop business opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful deal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in global accounting firms with FDD/M&A exposure.
• Degree or professional qualification in finance/accounting (ACCA/ICAEW/CPA).
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel and operate under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver financial due diligence projects related to transactions (buy side and sell side).
• Analyze key business drivers and financial/non-financial data (quality of earnings/assets, cash flow, working capital).
• Identify findings, assess risks, and present concise recommendations to clients.
• Prepare and draft client reports addressing strategic goals (buyer/seller).
• Handle majority of day-to-day client communications.
• Stay updated on global, regional and local business and economic issues.
• Participate in business development to identify opportunities with clients.
• Establish effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• Coach and supervise team members.
