Looking to join a dynamic and innovative hospitality team? Kota Kinabalu Marriott Hotel is seeking a talented Loss Prevention Attendant to be a key member of our security and safety operations. As a fulltime Loss Prevention Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and well-being of our guests, staff, and assets at our hotel located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
What you'll be doing
Conducting regular patrols and surveillance to identify and mitigate potential security risks
Responding to and managing security incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns in a professional and effective manner
Monitoring security systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and functionality
Maintaining detailed records and reports of all security-related activities and occurrences
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures
Providing a warm, friendly, and helpful customer service experience to all guests
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year of experience in a security or loss prevention role, preferably in the hospitality industry
PREFERABLY LADIES
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and external stakeholders
Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and address security concerns
Familiarity with security systems, equipment, and best practices
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe and secure environment
