Job description

RM2,500.00/bln - RM3,500.00/bln

Job Responsibility

• Operate and drive lorries with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) that requires specific licensing, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations within Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the lorry, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, and brakes, and complete inspection reports to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of beverages to prevent damage during transit.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery of beverages to various customer locations within Kuala Lumpur, considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations, mileage logs, and fuel consumption, and submit reports to the logistics department on a regular basis.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to provide updates on delivery status, resolve any delivery issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to the company's safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
• Perform routine maintenance on the lorry, such as cleaning and washing, and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the maintenance department for prompt repair.
• Handle cash payments from customers upon delivery, ensuring accurate collection and proper documentation of transactions, and submit payments to the accounting department according to company procedures.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.
• Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of beverages to designated locations.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
