Logistics & Warehouse Manager

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for managing and overseeing daily Logistic & Warehouse operations to ensure day-to-day operational activities are carried out systematically & smoothly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possesses at least a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, supply chain, warehouse management related fields.
• Possesses at least 7 – 10 years of working experiences in supply chain industry with holding a Logistic & Warehouse management role.
• Strong knowledge in logistic management systems, inventory control, and distribution processes
• Character: Strong leadership and organizational skills, strong problem solving and decision making skills. Demonstrate an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals. Process strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build constructive and effective relationships with ability to work effectively within a team and be assertive in driving successful management strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the management warehouse, ensuring optimal storage, handling, and inventory control.
• Develop and implement warehouse and logistics strategies that support the company’s overall business objectives.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve warehouse performance, leading and motivating a group of Store team members to meet performance KPI Goals and ISO Standards established for the jobs.
• Monitoring for timely delivery of goods, introduction of proactive changes and systematic procedures to achieve high accuracy of all transactions and inventory.
• Align warehouse operations with demand forecasts, production schedules, and sales strategies.
• Manage the end-to-end logistics process, including inbound and outbound transportation, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Optimize the logistics network, including third-party logistics providers (3PLs), to improve service levels and reduce costs.
• Prepares periodic reports related to warehouse activities, and presents statistical information to facilities decision making
• Ensures efficient and effective planning out of all warehouse resources and activities to facilitate business requirements
• Stay up-to-date on industry and market trends and share critical and indicative information with relevant stakeholders to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve warehouse and material-related issues
• Prioritize, plan, and coordinate work activities, and manage time and resources so that work objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations and monitor display accuracy and appearance. Ensure that products are properly displayed and ordered in a manner to maintain in stock conditions.
• Manage issues relating to Warehouse maintenance, cleanliness, safety and sanitation. Ensure good 5S housekeeping in place, and all materials movement established to meet smooth inventory flow / FIFO flow in the warehousing area.
• Ensure and enforce company safety standard requirements both on their subordinates and equipment.
• Provide constructive suggestions and encouragement, set performance expectations, provide honest feedback, and identify assignments to provide others with developmental opportunities.
