Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Warehouse & Inventory Management
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations with 3PL partners to ensure accurate inventory management, safe handling, and timely order fulfilment.
  • Drive regular cycle counts and annual stock takes to maintain >99% inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor and manage slow-moving and obsolete stock (SLOB), work with stakeholders to execute timely disposal or rework.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions, waste control, and compliance with QHSE and local regulations.
  • Conduct monthly KPI reviews with 3PL to evaluate warehouse productivity and service quality.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for warehouse layout optimisation and cost efficiency.
Inbound / Outbound / Export Logistics
  • Coordinate import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs, FTA, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Sales to fulfil customer orders on time and in full (OTIF).
  • Manage and track inbound shipments, freight documentation, and delivery schedules.
  • Act as the point of contact for logistical issues, claims, or disputes; ensure prompt resolution.
  • Ensure all logistics documentation (permits, declarations, invoices) is accurate and up to date.
3PL Performance & Cost Management
  • Manage 3PL partners to ensure adherence to contractual KPIs and Motul service standards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement actions where necessary.
  • Review and validate all logistics-related invoices for accuracy before submission for payment.
  • Monitor and control warehouse and transport costs to meet annual budget targets.
  • Develop and implement cost optimisation initiatives that improve efficiency and sustainability.
New Product Launch & Project Support
  • Coordinate logistics readiness for new product introductions, including import licensing, documentation, and system setup.
  • Work with 3PLs and internal teams to ensure operational readiness before launch.
  • Support ad hoc projects and process enhancements to strengthen supply chain resilience.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with Malaysian Customs, MITI, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain current knowledge of import/export policies, FTA rules, and documentation standards.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects related to cost, process, or sustainability.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in accordance with Motul’s Code of Conduct and Safety Standards.
Job Requirements
  • At least 3 years of working experience in Logistics or Supply Chain operations. Background in 3PL, Lubricants, Automotive, FMCG, or Manufacturing industries will be highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations, inventory control, and freight management.
  • Proven hands-on experience with any ERP/WMS systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; data analytics exposure will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Possesses a positive attitude, growth mindset, and demonstrates ownership in driving results.
