Job summary

PSA BDP in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to support order processing, job creation in Meridian, and documentation for import/export compliance.

You will coordinate with customs authorities, brokers, transporters and warehouse teams to ensure accurate data, timely filings, billing support and smooth job closures, contributing to high service levels for a diverse set of customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with data entry, filing and regulatory compliance is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing shipping instructions and documents.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify customer shipping instructions and documents.
• Open and register jobs in the in-house Meridian system.
• Ensure accurate data entry of shipment details and customer information.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation records.
• Prepare and declare customs forms in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Submit declarations and monitor status until approval is obtained.
• Liaise with customs authorities or brokers when clarification is required.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
• Submit ISD in the port system.
• Monitor container movement from release to gate-in at port.
• Coordinate with transporters and warehouse teams to ensure timely movement.
• Follow up on delays or discrepancies.
• Verify shipment details for billing accuracy.
• Prepare billing instructions and support invoicing process.
• Assist in job closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational and billing records.

Key Responsibilities

A. Order Processing & Job Creation
