About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and committed Logistics Manager / Senior Executive to be stationed in Malaysia and serve as a key operational extension to the General Manager based in Singapore. This role is vital in bridging strategic intent with day-to-day execution, ensuring consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across our Malaysia logistics subsidiaries. You will be expected to play a key role in executing the operational vision and supporting cross-border logistics effectiveness through structured reviews, data-driven insights, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and track daily logistics operations (warehouse, transport, depot) and report key developments to the GM.
  • Perform verification of reports, invoices, and commercial proposals from the Malaysia team before escalation for approval.
  • Consolidate data from various logistics operations (warehouse, transport, depot, etc.) and conduct performance analysis.
  • Provide actionable insights and performance trends through data analytics and KPI tracking on a weekly basis.
  • Act as a liaison between Singapore HQ and Malaysia operations to ensure strategic alignment and execution discipline & strategic plans.
  • Conduct periodic reviews, audits, and verifications to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting from Malaysia operations.
  • Drive and implement Kaizen / continuous improvement initiatives across logistics functions to enhance efficiency, cost control, and service quality.
  • Support internal control and compliance, ensuring operational discipline and standardization of processes.
  • Consolidate and analyse operational and financial data to highlight performance trends, improvement areas, and aid in decision making.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation with operational execution responsibility.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capability in reviewing data, cost structures, and process flows.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus.
  • Resourceful, disciplined, and capable of working independently with remote supervision.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willing to travel within Malaysia and occasionally coordinate visits with Singapore HQ.
