Logistics Executive (Shah Alam, Selangor)

We're looking to add a Logistics Executive located in Shah Alam, Selangor to support our extraordinary teams and contribute to our growth.

Job Descriptions:

1. Arrange loading planning and liaise with related departments/parties for support actions.
2. Book trucks/containers for goods collection to and from customers and external providers.
3. Collect complete sets of chopped and signed documents from transporters within the agreed working days.
4. Prepare shipping documents for customs clearance.
5. Handle issues such as goods shortages, variances, and customer complaints related to transporters, haulers, shipping agents, or forwarding agents.
6. Apply for permits, certifications, or exemptions from the relevant authorities.
7. Review diesel prices and negotiate price adjustments with transporters.
8. Analyze shipping costs by destination.
9. Prepare charge summaries for billing to transporters (including overtime and late document submissions).
10. Trace and evaluate the performance of transporters, haulers, shipping agents, and forwarding agents.
11. Recruit new transporters, haulers, shipping agents, or forwarding agents.
12. Perform any other special tasks on an ad-hoc basis as needed.

Skills and Personalities:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
2. At least 1 year of experience in Logistics and Transportation Pricing Negotiation.
3. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, BI).
4. Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
