Job Responsibilities
- To efficiently plan and manage all inventory activities in the warehouse.
- To monitor and maintain accuracy and integrity of all inventories in the warehouse.
- To plan, coordinate and supervise inventory stock counts as required.
- To supervise and analyze inventory balance, transactions and inventory reconciliation.
- Responsible for overall activities store function, including monitoring safety stock level for all goods and raising Purchase Requisition for stock replenishment if the stock level is below safety stock level.
- Responsible to ensure procedures for product identification, handling, storage and preservation for all raw, packaging material and customer supplied products are carried out in compliance with requirements.
- To ensure and enforce the FEFO system of issuing raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
- Responsible to run MRP in the software system.
- Ensure all warehouse facilities, equipment and tools are maintained properly and comply with safety and environment guidelines.
- To ensure maximum efficiency and productivity within the department.
- Liaise with relevant internal and external parties on delivery requirements.
- To ensure all activities in the Warehouse comply with Good Storage Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice, HALAL, ISO and Occupational Safety & Health requirements and regulations.
- To ensure general cleanliness and housekeeping of the store area.
- To undertake any other related duties as assigned by superior.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in warehouse management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operation or related field of manufacturing industry.
- Possess good knowledge in planning & logistic management practices.
- Possess good inter-personal and communication skills.
- Team player with strong initiatives, responsibilities and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in warehousing, including CLASS.
- Knowledge of ISO auditing procedures and requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willing to work in Glenmarie.
