Job Description
  • Coordinate daily booking and container arrangements for East Malaysia and export shipments.
  • Liaise with forwarding agents for booking confirmations and schedule updates.
  • Handle import activities including duty/tax processing, courier clearance, and container scheduling.
  • Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation (CI, PL, BL, LOI, marine insurance).
  • Track deliveries, resolve disputes, and update stakeholders on shipment status.
  • Follow up on PODs and maintain system updates and shared folders.
  • Manage container defects, replacements, and documentation.
  • Perform daily system updates and maintain import/export records.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior staff and support ad hoc logistics tasks.
  • Provide backup for local truck planning, including booking, loading/unloading, and return arrangements.
