About the job Logistics Customer Service

Company Background:
The company is a logistics company in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. They provide International Ocean Freight, Haulage Services, Freight Forwarding Services, and Warehousing Service. From export to import, they provide all the logistic service you need.
Location: Senai I-park, Johor
Working Hours: 9:30am to 6:00pm, from Monday to Saturday (OT provided)

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of their goods. You will work closely with our logistics team and external partners to coordinate shipments, track orders, and resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing timely and professional responses to their inquiries and concerns.
  • Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and provide updates to clients as needed.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process, working closely with carriers and internal teams to find solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments and communicate any changes or updates to clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate with our logistics team to identify areas for improvement and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and provide the best possible service to our clients
  • Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed to ensure the overall success of the logistics department

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or logistics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with logistics software preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and procedures is a plus
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends as needed
