We are looking for a Logistics Cost Specialist to:

  • Manage IMS Finance portfolio i.e. Analysis - export; VDE Management
  • Drive compliance in the IMS team
  • Accountable for maintaining the inbound import rate
A day in the life of...

  • Period End Close
    • Organise and perform PEC activities - ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness of accounting/financial data input, as well as relevance and authenticity of supporting documentation
    • Prepare JV and review all JV with LC prior to sending it for posting
    • Provide analysis of Act vs DF and LY in the agreed format
  • Financial Analyst and DF Reporting
    • Provide quality financial information and analysis to the business to assist in decision making, highlighting potential risks and opportunities
    • Support Logistics Controller with Logistics review, BU review and IMS review
  • Operation Plan (Budgeting)
    • Prepare yearly OP budget for Export and Export 3rd party with close coordination with IMS team for Logistics Controller review and approval
    • Responsible for validation of VDE export budget (i.e. Supply, Delivery & FG Handling cost) truck types to be used with SC Dist. team and other stakeholders
    • Validate & consolidate Variable Dist Expenses by Material and by market
  • Savings (LC2A) reporting
    • Work closely with operations to ensure all savings projects are validated, recorded, and reflected accordingly
    • Savings reporting as per the agreed format
  • Compliance
    • Gatekeeper of compliance and control in IMS operations
    • Advocate best practices and compliance processes within IMS operations
  • Others
    • Provide YCAA, ZED0 (SST) and ZOA1 (import duty) semi-annually to DSP team
    • Provide distribution cost TP (Transfer Price) details to planners/CDS as and when requested
What Will Make You Successful

  • At least 3 years working experience in distribution industries. Financial capability to oversee the entire IMS Total Direct Cost whilst ensuring that Business is within Nestlé Compliant process & guidelines
  • Prior experience in Accounting / Finance function (e.g. CDS, Factory or Supply Chain F&C, NMA, Commercial Control)
  • Financial planning and analysis experience
  • Experience in Logistic and warehouse Finance
