We are looking for a Logistics Cost Specialist to:

  • Manage IMS Finance portfolio, including analysis for export and VDE management
  • Drive compliance within the IMS team
  • Maintain inbound import rates

A day in the life of...

  • Period End Close
    • Organize and perform PEC activities ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data, along with relevant supporting documentation
    • Prepare JV and review all JV with LC before posting
    • Provide analysis of Actual vs. DF and LY in the agreed format
  • Financial Analysis and DF Reporting
    • Provide quality financial information and analysis to support decision-making, highlighting risks and opportunities
    • Support Logistics Controller with logistics, BU, and IMS reviews
  • Operation Planning (Budgeting)
    • Prepare annual OP budget for export and third-party export, coordinating with IMS team for review and approval
    • Validate VDE export budget, including supply, delivery, and FG handling costs, with relevant stakeholders
    • Consolidate variable distribution expenses by material and market
  • Savings (LC2A) Reporting
    • Collaborate with operations to validate and record savings projects
    • Report savings as per the agreed format
  • Compliance
    • Ensure IMS operations adhere to compliance and control standards
    • Promote best practices and compliance processes within IMS
  • Others
    • Provide YCAA, ZED0 (SST), and ZOA1 (import duty) reports semi-annually to DSP team
    • Provide distribution cost transfer price details to planners/CDS as requested

What Will Make You Successful

  • At least 3 years of experience in distribution industries, with financial oversight of IMS Total Direct Cost, ensuring compliance with Nestlé guidelines
  • Experience in accounting/finance functions such as CDS, factory, supply chain finance, NMA, or commercial control
  • Financial planning and analysis expertise
  • Experience in logistics and warehouse finance
