Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Coordinator at INNO INSTRUMENT SDN. BHN.. The role is located in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. The Logistics Coordinator will oversee logistics operations, ensuring compliance, timely deliveries, and cost-effective processes through coordination with internal teams and external partners.

• Perform all aspects of customs and MITI related approvals and reports
• Preparation of export shipping documents and courier shipments
• Ensure all import and export activities meeting LMW, custom and global trade compliance regulations
• Preparing export shipping documents and ensuring daily monitoring of all pending export shipments
• Monitor closely with freight forwarders on logistics activities, shipment by truck, air freight and sea freight
• Providing daily progress report on export shipments and submit monthly report to Superior
• Communicate with export agents/forwarding regarding rates revision, import and export clearance
• Liaise with shipping line regarding on time arrival of containers
• Manage logistics budget
• Collaborate with Sales and Operation for daily collection schedule
• Providing shipping details to customer and receiving team
• Continuously look for improvement in job function and costs
• Verification of export and import related bills
• Assist Superior in overseeing the logistics tasks and processes as per given direction
• Assists in ensuring planned KPI’s are met
• Other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned

Qualification and Experience :

• Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field
• Familiar with shipping procedures, global customs clearance rules and regulations, documentation of import and export activities
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking China base staffs/clients
• Good negotiation and follow up skills
• Ability to work in team environment, to handle heavy workload and good time management
• Problem solving skills
