Weir in Batu Caves, Malaysia seeks a logistics coordinator on a fixed-term contract to manage SAP EWM/ECC processes and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics operations. You will ensure accurate ERP records, timely shipments, and effective communication with customers and sites.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency, and collaboration across teams. Prior SCRUM exposure and ERP experience are advantageous for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Warehouse, Logistics, or related field.
• 1-2 years’ experience in similar logistics or warehouse coordination roles.
• Proficiency in SAP EWM and ERP systems.
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsabilités

• SAP EWM/ECC Support: Manage and optimize SAP and EWM processes, including documentation, training, and system improvements.
• Logistics Operations Coordination: Coordinate container and truck bookings, liaise with authorities, track shipments, and prepare shipping documentation.
• Administrative and Continuous Improvement: Raise ICAR/NCR for nonconformities, manage requisitions, updates, and SCRUM activities for process improvements.
• Daily Role: Independently manage day-to-day logistics and administrative functions to ensure smooth operations and accurate data.
• Safety First and Travel: Uphold zero-harm culture and minimal travel for coordination or site visits.

What You’ll Do

• SAP EWM/ECC Support: Manage and optimize SAP and EWM processes, including developing process documentation, maintaining accurate inventory records, providing training to users, and supporting system improvements. Participate in physical and cycle stock counts and ensure timely and accurate ERP transactions.
• Logistics Operations Coordination: Coordinate container and truck bookings with customer agents, liaise with authorities for required logistics documentation, track outbound shipments, and communicate updates to customers. Collaborate with warehouse teams to prioritize loading and stuffing activities and prepare shipping documentation.
• Administrative and Continuous Improvement: Raise ICAR/NCR for nonconformities, manage purchase requisitions and maintenance requests, update staff leave and allowances, and support QC and production teams with non‑conformance items. Participate in SCRUM activities for continuous process improvements, user acceptance testing, and change requests.
• Daily Role: The successful candidate will independently manage day‑to‑day logistics and administrative functions, ensuring smooth warehouse and logistics operations, accurate system data, and excellent customer communication.
• Success Metrics: Success will be measured by optimized logistics processes, accurate inventory management, timely shipment coordination, and adherence to safety standards.
• Travel Requirements: Minimal travel may be required, primarily for coordination with external parties or site visits as necessary.

What You’ll Bring

Must-haves

• Diploma in Warehouse, Logistics, or related field
• 1-2 years’ experience in similar logistics or warehouse coordination roles
• Proficiency in SAP EWM and ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail with good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia

• Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as SCRUM
• Knowledge of supply chain documentation and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
