We are seeking a Logistics Analyst located at Flex PTP, Johor.

This role involves enhancing product workflow by researching and developing logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing logistics procedures to maximize client satisfaction and minimize costs, ensuring productivity and efficiency across various logistics operations such as tracking shipments, contract negotiations, budgeting, and coordinating shipments.

Typical daily responsibilities include:

• Recommending improvements to logistics processes.
• Researching logistics data using data mining, modeling, or cost-benefit analysis.
• Applying investigation methods to comprehend or control logistics operations.
• Interpreting data related to supply chain management, transportation, and logistics performance.
• Preparing reports on logistics performance metrics.
• Revising standard operating procedures for logistics processes.
• Collaborating with management to optimize service levels and reduce costs.
• Maintaining logistics databases in accordance with company policies.
• Researching areas such as transportation costs and delivery processes.
• Developing models for cost estimating or demand forecasting.
• Monitoring industry trends to stay updated on logistics practices.
• Tracking product flow and monitoring logistics systems.
• Defining packaging requirements and calculating performance metrics.
• Managing pricing systems and communicating with carriers and service providers.
• Optimizing transportation routes and consolidating shipments.
• Maintaining freight rate databases and developing environmentally conscious transportation solutions.
• Managing vendor payments and real-time routing adjustments using GPS and other software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in materials management or related areas.
• Background in manufacturing is preferred.
