Job summary

Mattech Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, based in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a logistics/supply chain professional to oversee warehouse operations and stock movements. The role emphasizes accurate receiving, storage, and distribution, with a focus on FIFO and ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage
• ERP/WMS experience is a plus
• ISO9001:2015 or similar quality standard familiarity

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations and warehouse stock in/out flow.
• Maintain storage and inventory systems; enforce FIFO.
• Ensure accurate receiving, storage, retrieval and distribution of goods.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead and coordinate warehouse staff; recruit, train, and schedule.
• Implement inventory management processes and procedures.
• Monitor warehouse performance metrics and reporting.
• Handle full import/export scope: shipping docs, customs, container freight, delivery.
• Drive efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
• Lead 5S and HSE programs on the warehouse floor.
• Document tasks and report to management; monthly performance reports.

Job description

• Responsible for store operations, stock in and out flow movement of warehouse.
• Maintaining a proper storage and inventory system. Knowledge of QC procedure and FIFO method.
• Responsible for the accurate receiving, storage, retrieval and distribution of goods.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Create and implement inventory management systems, process and procedures.
• Ensure that all warehouse operations are performed in compliance with company policy and procedures.
• Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics.
• Performing full Import & Export scope including coordination, shipping documentation, customs and clearance, container & fright management, delivery coordination, compliance and record keeping.
• Manage and coordinate warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
• Execute strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• To manage and sustain 5’S implementation, and Health Safety & Environment (HSE) programs on warehouse floor.
• Documenting operational tasks and reporting to upper-level management.
• To provide a standard logistics & warehouses performance monthly reporting in proper reporting format to upper-level managements.
• Perform other duties as assigned and to comply with company’s instruction for any additional task required by the Management.

Requirements

• Import & Export knowledge; including shipping documentation, freight container management, customs & compliance, logistic coordination and time management.
• Excellent in Warehouse Management.
• Strong in coordination and planning across to multiple groups internal and externally.
• Excellent in Problem Solving.
• Attention to Detail.
• Excellent communication skills; mandarin speaker is an advantage.
• Proficient in computer skills; experience with ERP/WMS systems is an advantage.
• Familiar with ISO9001:2015 or any quality standards applicable.
• Proven effectively in teamwork.
• Ability to lead and drive HSE, 5’s and Continuous Improvement.
