Bosch Malaysia is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Section/Manager to ensure stable material flow, production continuity and reliable customer delivery. You will oversee inbound, warehouse, and outbound logistics, driving continuous improvement and digitalization across SAP-based processes.

Must have 5–10 years in logistics with at least 5 years leading teams; strong SAP/S4HANA knowledge and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential for success in a fast-growing

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business management or related field.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory, material flow, transportation and customs compliance.
• Proficient with SAP/SAP S/4HANA; data analytics and process improvement are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end logistics operations including inbound, warehouse, production supply and outbound execution.
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability and prevent line stoppages.
• Own warehouse performance: inventory accuracy, space utilization and handling efficiency.
• Manage resources, planning and capacity to support growth and ramp-up.
• Drive inventory optimization and obsolescence management.
• Govern material flow and ensure FIFO and traceability.
• Oversee transportation and service providers for reliability and cost targets.
• Ensure compliance with customs, trade and Bosch standards.
• Drive SAP/EWM/S4HANA adherence and master data governance.
• Lead digitalization, automation and continuous improvement using Lean methods.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions; support audits.

PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction began in May 2021, and first series of production commenced in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Section / Manager to ensure stable material flow, production continuity, optimized inventory, and reliable customer delivery. The role manages day-to-day logistics execution across inbound logistics, warehouse operations, internal material flow, transportation, customs compliance, and outbound logistics, while driving continuous improvement, digitalization, and operational excellence in support of Bosch business objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end logistics operations covering inbound, warehouse, production supply and outbound execution.
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability to production and prevent logistics-related line stoppages.
• Own warehouse performance including inventory accuracy, space utilization, storage optimization and material handling efficiency.
• Manage logistics resources, manpower planning and operational capacity to support business growth and volume ramp-up.
• Drive inventory optimization initiatives including DIO reduction, excess and obsolete inventory management and stock accuracy improvement.
• Govern material flow processes from receiving until production consumption while ensuring compliance with FIFO and traceability requirements.
• Manage transportation operations and logistics service providers to achieve delivery reliability and cost objectives.
• Ensure compliance with customs, trade compliance, LMW requirements and Bosch logistics standards.
• Drive SAP, SAP EWM and S/4HANA process adherence and logistics master data governance.
• Lead logistics digitalization, automation and continuous improvement projects using BPS and Lean methodologies.
• Monitor and report logistics KPIs and initiate corrective actions for performance gaps and operational risks.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure full compliance with Bosch Quality, Safety and Process Standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, supply chain, or manufacturing operations, including at least 5 years leading operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, material flow, transportation, and customs/trade compliance.
• Good working knowledge of SAP/SAP S/4HANA, with experience in data analytics and logistics process improvement considered an advantage.
• Strong people leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
