Job description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Logistics Manager to oversee the full spectrum of logistics operations—including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and vendor coordination

This role is crucial in optimizing supply chain performance, ensuring timely deliveries, reducing costs, and enhancing service quality. The ideal candidate is both hands-on and analytical, capable of leading teams while streamlining logistics processes to support the company’s growth and customer satisfaction.

What you will be doing:

Plan, coordinate, and monitor end-to-end logistics activities including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to internal stakeholders and customers.

Optimize logistics operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.

Maintain and control accurate inventory levels, conduct audits, and resolve discrepancies proactively.

Develop and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts, overstocking, and waste.

Negotiate with carriers and manage transportation budgets and contracts.

Manage vendor relationships, including third-party logistics providers, to ensure seamless operations.

Ensure compliance with relevant local and international regulations, safety standards, and industry protocols.

Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of logistics personnel—setting performance goals, monitoring progress, and supporting professional development.

Drive implementation of best practices in warehouse management to maximize space and improve efficiency.

Analyze logistics KPIs, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to senior management.

Collaborate closely with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics strategies with business needs.

Proactively resolve logistics issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Track inbound and outbound shipments and ensure proper documentation for all logistics activities.

What you should have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistic, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of working experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally in a regional or multi-country context.

Strong knowledge of international customs clearance procedures, HS codes, and import/export regulations across various countries.

Proven ability to manage transportation, warehousing, and inventory operations.

Experience with logistics vendors, 3PLs, and freight forwarding partners.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and fostering a positive work culture.

Analytical and data-driven mindset with proficiency in reporting and KPI monitoring.

Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics platforms for tracking and documentation.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
