Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive – Logistics to oversee critical logistics operations, especially in Free Trade Zone (FTZ) management, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) compliance, and import/export activities.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a solid background in high-volume manufacturing logistics.

Key Responsibilities

FTZ Operations:

Manage daily operations within the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in line with regulatory and company requirements

Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to ensure smooth customs clearance and documentation

Track and optimize FTZ inventory movement to support production schedules

FTA Compliance & Certification:

Prepare and submit NPCO and PCOO applications

Ensure full compliance with Free Trade Agreement (FTA) requirements and leverage benefits to optimize cost

Engage with government bodies for certification and approval processes

Import/Export Operations:

Manage full-cycle import/export documentation and customs clearance

Liaise with freight forwarders and ensure timely delivery of goods

Ensure compliance with Malaysian customs regulations and international trade standards

Process Optimization & Compliance:

Identify and implement improvements in logistics operations

Maintain accurate records to support audits and regulatory checks

Keep up-to-date with customs and trade policy changes

Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with procurement, production, and finance to align logistics with business goals

Provide reports and updates on FTZ and trade compliance activities to senior management

Support strategic logistics planning with the Senior Manager

Requirements

Experience:

3-5 years in manufacturing logistics, specifically FTZ operations

Experience with FTA processes and certificate applications (NPCO/PCOO)

Strong knowledge of import/export and customs regulations

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Familiar with ERP systems and customs platforms
