Job description

• To Assist in overseeing the operations of the warehouse
• Assist in carrying out receiving and binning operations in accordance of warehouse operation procedures including delivery of stocks to customers.
• To ensure that stock levels are monitored manually and by software to maintain stock accuracy & integrity at all times
• To be able to utilize computer for documentation of information of receipt and dispatch of stock from warehouse.
• To assist Assistant Manager to measure and report the effectiveness of warehouse activities and employees’ performance where appropriate.
• To identify areas of improvement and carry out kaizen (continuous improvements activities) to ensure operation of warehouse.
• To establish visual monitoring tools and warehouse operation standards further enhance warehouse operation.
• To maintain records and document necessary as per QMS and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
• To assist in preparing proposals and other necessary documentation for warehouse improvement activities, warehouse purchases and expansion related activities.
• Ensure proper documentations are done for future traceability.
• Oversee planned maintenance of vehicles and housekeeping
• To supervise and train store personnel to carry out their jobs effectively.
• To ensure daily cycle count is carried out effectively and any discrepancy found attended to promptly report to related department.
• To monitor and verify material accuracy to ensure all material are controlled, stored and segregated properly.
• Timely and accurate monthly reporting to management
• Perform other job duties as requested by the immediate Superior / HOD

Citeria and requirements

• More than 3 years working experience in Warehouse & Inventory
• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related.
