Logistics Management
We are seeking a Logistics Management professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and supply chain processes to meet project requirements.
- Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information from origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging services as necessary.
- Execute logistics plans to ensure products, materials, and packages reach destinations on schedule.
- Review freight and transportation costs to maintain low operating expenses.
- Manage general operations while also participating in practical work on the store floor.
- Ensure storekeepers are regularly briefed, supervised, and trained; maintain machinery and vehicles, upholding health, safety, and security standards.
- Monitor delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with external warehouses, plan routes, and process deliveries.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with procurement to uphold quality and delivery standards.
- Manage inventory tracking systems to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
- Update systems regularly by producing reports and planning for future capacity requirements.
- Evaluate deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Examine supply and material levels to identify shortages.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
- Conduct physical inventory counts.
- Control and manage company assets such as tools and equipment, ensuring proper handling.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in ERP software and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong team player with negotiation and effective communication skills in dealing with the supply chain.
- Experience in stock control is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills for managing people, stock, and budgets, with future planning abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
- Valid driving license D and willingness to travel.
