Job description

Job Responsibility

  • Order Processing: Receiving and processing incoming orders, verifying details, and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Shipment Planning: Coordinating the transportation of goods, selecting carriers, and determining the most cost-effective and efficient shipping methods.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure adequate inventory.
  • Documentation: Preparing shipping documents, delivery Order, customs paperwork, and other necessary documentation for shipments.
  • Communication: Acting as a point of contact between suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve inquiries.
  • Problem Resolution: Addressing and resolving logistical issues, such as delays, damages, or missing items, in a timely manner.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyzing logistics costs and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Reporting: Preparing regular reports on key logistics metrics, performance, and KPIs for management review.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to customs regulations, trade laws, and safety standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams, such as procurement, sales, and warehouse, to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Job Requirements

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in logistics or related roles can be beneficial. Entry-level positions may require little to no experience, while more senior roles may require several years of relevant experience.
  • Can speak in English, B.Malaysia, Mandarin
