Job description
Responsibilities
- Overseeing procurement, manufacturing, and distribution processes to ensure a steady flow of goods and services from start to finish.
- Building strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Overseeing inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment, and optimizing stock levels.
- Efficiently monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and implementing just-in-time inventory systems.
- Developing cost-effective logistics strategies to optimize operations.
- Managing warehouse operations and coordinating transportation services for efficient movement of goods.
- Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting financial commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, or warehouse operations.
- Experience in oil & gas, energy, or related industries is preferable.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and vendor relations.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze logistics data and develop cost-effective strategies.
- Knowledge of PETRONAS MPM regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
