Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Local Store Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in local market strategies, community engagement, and brand promotion to drive store traffic and enhance customer loyalty.

What You'll Do:Duties and Responsibilities
1
. Marketing Strategy Development:
a. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive marketing plans to
achieve business objectives.
b. Identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform
marketing strategies.
c. Create and execute marketing plans that align with the overall brand strategy and
business goals.
d. Manage creative development process for relevant campaigns which includes
coordination with in-house designer and external agencies.

2. Local Store Marketing (LSM):
a. Develop and oversee LSM initiatives to drive traffic to individual Burger King outlets.
b. Work closely with Operations team, landlords, franchisees and localized partners to
execute local promotions, events, and community engagement activities.
c. Initiate, execute, measure and analyze local store traffic drivers, for example, flyer
distribution, bounceback initiatives and more.
d. Drive and support kiosk ordering platform adoption
e. Develop and push for upsell strategies and implementation at store level
f. Management of store level displays (POS materials) and coordinating rollouts on time
and within budget for all marketing campaigns
g. Responsible for customer experience at store level
h. Monitoring and managing costs and maximising ROI for all retail investments
i. May require outstation travel to local stores for monitoring and understanding of local
audience behavior.
3. New Store Expansion:
a. Develop and implement marketing strategies for new store openings, including pre-
launch, launch, and post-launch activities.

b. Analyze industry trends and identify growth areas for new restaurant openings.
c. Coordinate launch events and promotions to drive initial customer traffic and
engagement.
d. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts for new
store locations.
e. Monitor and evaluate the success of new store marketing campaigns, making
adjustments as necessary.
4. Partnerships and Business Development:
a. Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, and community
organizations.
b. Develop partnerships to create mutually beneficial marketing opportunities.
c. Support the Head of Marketing on new business development ventures e.g. food sales
booth, food truck, catering and more.

Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus.
2. Minimum 3 years experience’ in retail marketing, preferably in the QSR or F&B industry. Prior team leadership experience is an added advantage.
3. Strong analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making.
4. Proficiency in local market dynamics and consumer behavior.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
