Job summary

Malaysian Bar is seeking a Legal Associate (Litigation) to join our litigation team. The successful candidate will attend trials, hearings and case managements, either with a partner or independently, and draft essential court documents including cause papers, notices of applications, affidavits and opinions.

Required PQE of 3+ years in active practice, demonstrated trial experience across all courts of first instance, and fluency in English (written and spoken).

Qualifications

• PQE of 3 years or more in active practice.
• Conducted trials independently at all courts of first instance.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Meticulous and able to take instruction from partners.

Responsibilities

• Attend trials, hearings and case managements (with partner or independently).
• Drafting of cause papers, notices of applications, affidavits and opinions.
