Job summary

UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Linux/UNIX security controls within the bank's infrastructure. The role focuses on hardening, access control, and privileged account management to protect critical systems.

The ideal candidate will perform security audits, manage CyberArk vaults, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant security practices. On-call support may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux/UNIX security design and operations.
• Knowledge of security standards and hardening practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain the bank's Linux/UNIX security controls.
• Handle change requests for Linux/UNIX systems and hardening compliance.
• Perform Linux/UNIX server takeover processes and verify security hardening.
• Audit extraction and documentation of security standards and access controls.
• Manage privileged accounts and access control matrices; assist with CyberArk vaults.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure secure operations.
• Support on-call duties and resolve routine and complex issues with minimal guidance.
