We are looking for an experienced Linux Engineer to join a dynamic infrastructure and data centre team within a leading global enterprise. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, reliability, and secure infrastructure operations in a large-scale IT environment.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Linux infrastructure (primarily RHEL).
- Drive automation through Python, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Ensure 2nd and 3rd level support for RHEL systems and related components.
- Deploy and maintain systems in hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP, VMware).
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setup, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Apply SRE and DevOps practices, including monitoring, templating (Jinja2), and secure configuration.
- Handle system migrations, patching, and system health checks.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and IT service management standards.
️ What You Bring :
- Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) — RHCSA-level knowledge expected.
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform, or SALT/Puppet.
- Proficiency in Python, Git, and CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.).
- Understanding of virtual environments and VMware.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and container technologies (basic OpenShift admin is a plus).
- Solid grasp of IT security topics, including SIEM, patching, and privileged access management (PAM).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT operations or systems engineering.
- Experience working in large-scale, regulated environments.
