Job summary

ASE Electronics Malaysia in Penang is seeking a fresh graduate for an entry-level technician role focused on handler setup, conversion, and production readiness. You will ensure mechanical and electrical criteria are met and assist with basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

You will document setup checklists, liaise with shift technicians, and support hardware requests from the manufacturing side. diploma holders in electrical/mechanical engineering are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh Graduate.

Responsibilities

• Perform handler setup/conversion with allocated period of time in order product runthrough handler meet the criteria such as mechanical or electrical requirement.
• Repair the equipment failures that impact to quality or mechanical or electrical loss.
• Highlight any abnormality to Supervisor accordingly so that necessary action can be taken.
• Face to face hand shake with incoming shift Tech for any info or pass over.
• Update the setup/conversion checklist prior releasing setup to production used.
• Dealing with manufacturing side for any hardware request matter that is related to thesetup.
• Perform basic troubleshooting whenever there is any report breakdown on the machine.

Education

Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
