Job summary

Cibes Lift Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Lift Installer to join our growing team in Malaysia. You will install, commission, service, and troubleshoot premium home lifts across the country, collaborating with homeowners, contractors, and colleagues to ensure safe, high-quality installations.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, or related technical work.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and instructions.
• Valid Malaysian driving license and willingness to travel.
• Proficient in English; Mandarin is a bonus.
• Physically healthy and able to lift heavy components.

Responsibilities

• Install Cibes home lifts at customer sites.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical lift components according to company standards and installation manuals.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and final handover of completed lifts.
• Carry out service, maintenance, and troubleshooting work as required.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
• Conduct site inspections and provide feedback on installation readiness.
• Work closely with contractors, homeowners, and project stakeholders during installation.
• Complete installation reports, service records, and other required documentation.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company procedures and local regulations.
• Travel regularly within Malaysia and potentially (occasionally) overseas for training or project support.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting our premium home lifts across Malaysia. You will work closely with homeowners, contractors, and colleagues to ensure every installation is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest quality standards.

What Makes a Strong Candidate

• Physically healthy and capable of safely lifting and handling heavy components.
• Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technical skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid Malaysian driving license and willingness to travel for projects.
• Previous experience with lifts, elevators, escalators, automation systems, or construction equipment is an advantage, but not required.
• Proficient English required. Mandarin-speaking is a bonus.
