Responsibilities
  • Prepare and format legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Manage and maintain client files, both physical and electronic, ensuring proper organization, security, and accessibility.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and court personnel, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Maintain attorneys' calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, ensuring efficient time management.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal filings, including e-filing and serving documents to opposing counsel and courts.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support attorneys in case preparation.
  • Draft routine correspondence and legal documents under the direction of attorneys.
  • Perform general office administrative tasks, such as answering phones, managing mail, and ordering supplies.
Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum of Secondary/SPM/\'O\' Level certification or equivalent.
  • Open to fresh graduates seeking an entry-level position in the legal field.
  • Proficient in preparing legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent client communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Capable of managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings efficiently.
  • Strong record-keeping and filing abilities, ensuring organized and easily accessible information.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is advantageous.
