Job description

Provides legal support to the organization by seeking advices on laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements. Assist in managing disputes and litigation, support corporate governance activities, and liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities. Legal Executives also conduct legal research, help develop company policies, and may provide internal training on legal and compliance matters.

Responsibilities

Legal Compliance & Risk Management

1. Conduct legal checks in daily business operations and issue management.

2. Confirm whether current SOPs effectively adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

3. Work with legal firms to ensure AMB's legal and compliance obligations are met.

4. Identify legal risks in operations and provide solutions or recommendations

Regulatory Monitoring & Action Implementation

1. Maintain oneself up-to-date knowledge and awareness on updated or new revisions to laws and regulations utilizing information received from legal firm or public information.

2. Assess the impact of legal or regulatory changes on AMB and propose necessary actions.

Legal Training & Education

1. Conduct legal education and training sessions for AMB employees.

2. Develop materials to enhance legal awareness across departments.

1. Provide legal support for business projects when required.

2. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

Legal Process Improvement

1. Plan, execute, review, and improve legal processes and procedures.

2. Implement corrective actions where legal non-compliance is identified.

3. Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) on regulatory compliance matters.
