Legal Executive Job Description

The Legal Executive will assist the Legal Department in managing all franchising and legal matters related to our franchisees. They will support legal issues concerning our company, staff, and business operations within and outside Malaysia. The role involves executing intellectual property rights and related activities, creating awareness, and supporting or motivating franchisees through talks and workshops.

1. Assist in the application and procurement of necessary licenses for the company and franchisees.
2. Ensure compliance with all company agreements.
3. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company.

Qualifications

1. Graduate in Law from a reputable university or private institution.
2. Solid legal knowledge, preferably in franchising, copyright law, and trademarks.
3. Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
4. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
5. Attention to detail, integrity, commitment, and confidentiality.
6. Flexible, resourceful, independent, and self-motivated with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
8. Willing to grow with the company.
9. Possess own transport and willing to travel.
