Job description

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading agreements and legal documents.

Support legal review of matters related to property development, construction, financing, insurance, intellectual property, and corporate exercises.

Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law relevant to the Group’s operations.

Help monitor and track contract timelines, expiry dates, and follow-up actions to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Liaise with external solicitors, advisors, and government authorities as directed.

Maintain proper filing and records of legal documents, litigation files, and compliance records to support audit and internal governance needs.

Assist in preparing basic risk and compliance reports, summary notes, and management briefing documents.

Provide support on internal projects relating to ESG reporting, policy drafting, and implementation initiatives.

Work closely with the Legal Manager to ensure internal policies, contracts, and procedures align with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Possess Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)

Foundation in Law holders with relevant years of experience are encouraged to apply too.

Strong interest in corporate, contract, and property law.

Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

High attention to detail, with good organizational and time management skills.

Willingness to take on a variety of tasks in a small legal team setting.
