Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Legal Editor to process and publish content, ensuring accuracy, currency and accessibility across the Practical Guidance platform. The role involves rigorous research, content updates and collaboration with operations, sales and editorial teams to meet SLAs.

Ideal candidates will have a law degree, solid English communication, and proven experience with editorial processes and content management systems.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Education Qualification required; degree in Law preferred.
• Legal research and analytical skills needed.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.

Responsibilities

• Edit manuscripts for accuracy, currency, relevance, conformance and timeliness.
• Perform original legal research as required.
• Monitor developments in the law and update content within SLAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement product development and updates.
• Commission or develop updates to content in response to legal changes.
• Contribute to product reviews and market feedback sessions.
• Maintain production roadmaps and track project status and risks.
