Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Legal Editor to process and publish content, ensuring accuracy, currency and quality across Practical Guidance content. The role requires adherence to publishing schedules, standards, and SLAs, with collaboration across support, operations, and cross-functional teams.

You will perform research, track legal developments, and assist in product enhancements while maintaining strong editorial and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law preferred with strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business software.
• Interest in AI and publishing/editorial processes.
• Minimum 2 years in the legal industry; practice experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Edit manuscripts to ensure accuracy, currency, relevance, conformance and accessibility.
• Perform original research and monitor developments in the law for timely updates.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance product development and content updates.
• Coordinate production roadmaps, timelines, and SLA adherence.
• Support sales and marketing with product catalog information and stakeholder relations.
