A global provider of corporate services seeks a Legal Counsel for their APAC legal team in Kuala Lumpur. This regional role involves supporting legal matters across Malaysia and the ASEAN region, including client and supplier contracts, internal policies, and HR-related issues.

Responsibilities
- Independently negotiate client and supplier contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documentation, while responding to stakeholders' queries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the in-house legal team to maintain and streamline ASEAN legal infrastructure, including online terms and conditions and policies.
- Provide ad-hoc in-house legal support as needed.
- Mitigate the company's legal risk exposure.
Requirements
- At least five (5) years of working experience in corporate and/or commercial experience at a law firm, in-house or a combination;
- Prior experience in IT contracting is an advantage;
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation and communication skills;
- Sound judgement;
- Team player;
- Able to work independently;
- Self-motivated and proactive;
- Having a strong sense of accountability and responsibility;
- Professional and mature; and
- Fluent in English, Bahasa and Chinese.
