Job Description

Corporate Legal Oversight: Provide comprehensive legal guidance to support WORQ’s corporate strategy and ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards.

Deal Structuring and Execution: Draft, negotiate, and finalize various agreements, including customer contracts, partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, employment agreements, and vendor engagements.

Real Estate and Leasing: Oversee leasing negotiations and landlord agreements, ensuring favorable terms for WORQ’s expanding portfolio of office spaces.

Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead legal due diligence and negotiate contracts for M&A and investment transactions to protect WORQ’s interests.

Partnership Development: Structure and manage joint ventures, partnerships, and collaborative agreements with external stakeholders.

Compliance & Risk Management: Develop and maintain compliance frameworks for regulatory requirements, risk assessments, and dispute resolution processes.

Legal Operations Standardization: Create templates, policies, and best practices to ensure efficiency and consistency across legal functions.

Advisory Role: Support management with strategic growth initiatives, focusing on corporate deals and expansion plans with local landlords to enhance market presence.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; admission to the Bar is required.

- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate, real estate, or commercial law.

- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements and managing end-to-end legal deals in high-growth environments.

- Prior experience in investment banking, venture capital/private equity, or real estate firms is highly advantageous.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle high-stakes transactions.

- Excellent analytical skills for risk assessment and strategic planning.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Proven leadership in legal operations and cross-functional team influence.
