Job Duties

• Under broad direction, this position is responsible for advising the company concerning complex legal issues related to business activities.
• Acts as a company advocate and advisor with respect to legal matters in one or more substantive areas of law, with higher focus on commercial and corporate law.
• Interprets the intent of laws and judicial decisions and applies them to specific circumstances as applicable to company business.
• Communicates with customers, internal clients and vendors of the company and manages outside counsel.
• Assists with the development of personnel and integration of company processes.
• Must adhere to a strict code of ethics.
• A Bachelors degree is required, while a Masters degree is preferred.
• 5+ years experience is required.
• Must be licensed to practice law in applicable areas.
