Job description

  • Drafting, Reviewing, and Negotiating Contracts: Handle all aspects of sales, procurement, partnership, and other contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners for company's business units. This includes contracts related to bids and enterprise sales teams.
  • Advising on Legal and Operational Risks: Provide comprehensive legal advice on contracts, proactively addressing legal and operational risk issues. Recommend changes and best practices to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborating with Business Units: Work closely with various business lines and relevant stakeholders to deliver pragmatic and robust legal solutions that align with Group’s corporate policies.
  • Maintaining Documentation: Ensure all documentation is systematically maintained with adequate processes and policies, retaining organizational memory within the corporate business group.
  • Reporting and Supervision: Collaborate, report to, and work under the supervision of the Legal team in Singapore team.

Job Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Law, called to the bar in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, or the UK.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) gained as an in-house lawyer or with a reputable commercial law firm.
  • Commercial Contract Expertise: Experience in reviewing, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts, whether in-house or in practice.
  • Remote Work Capability: Ability to work remotely with the reporting manager and business units based in Singapore.
  • Willingness to Travel: Willing to travel to Singapore from time to time as required.
