To conduct detailed reviews and draft commercial & corporate related contracts and agreements.

To assist and support the business operation units in negotiating contracts or agreements with external parties. To ensure that the terms and conditions, clauses of the contracts or agreements align with the organisation objectives, and comply with the applicable laws, financial, regulations and QESH standards.

To identify and evaluate potential risks associated with contracts/agreements, and recommend appropriate measures to address and mitigate any contractual risks and/or legal exposures.

To support the business operation units and/or projects in draft and review the contractual letters (correspondences), with the content inputs from the head of business operation unit and/or the project manager/project director.

Monitor and audit existing contracts and/or agreements, oversees any supplementary, modifications or amendments, and to track the execution, implementation, and performance of each the executed contract or agreement.

To ensure all contracts and/or agreements are stamped within the required timeframe and compliance with latest enforced Stamp Act 1949.

To responsible for the purchase of the project-related insurance in accordance with the terms stipulated in the contract and/or agreement.

To record and safe-keeping of all the signed contracts and/or agreements that have entered by the business units and/or projects.

To undertake any special assignments, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned.

Requirements: -

Degree in Law (Contract, Tort, Corporate, IP) with minimum 5 years experience;

Experience in project environment and good understanding of commercial/business terms and conditions;

Experience in commercial & corporate contracts review;

Experience in drafting of commercial & corporate contracts;

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Points;

Ability to multi-tasking and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
